Ka'Ano'i - Released 1990 on MCD Records
The debut album of his solo career was an instant success winning multiple awards and the Hawaiian Academy of Recording Arts (HARA) Awards that year. Taking his middle name as the album title this featured his first recording of "Somewhere over the rainbow/What a wonderful world"

Facing Future - Released 1993 on The Mountain Apple Company
His follow up album was equally well received by critics both domestically and on a wider scale. Songs like Hawaii 78 showed Israel's continuing desire to spread his message of Hawaiian independence and strength.

E Ala E - Released 1994 on Big Boy Records
Following HARA awarding Kamakawiwo'ole with the auspicious entertainer of the year award, this highly political album was recorded and released. His messages continued to grow strong whilst he preserved the desire to stay true to his musical roots. The title track holds perhaps one of the most poignant messages.

N Dis Life - Released 1996 on Big Boy Records
This final album recorded by Israel before his tragic death in 1997 had sentiments of a life well lived, happiness but yet awareness of the impending end of a journey. The track "Lover of mine" is often debated as a track that was either a tribute to his wife, or his land. Both of which seemed to be the driving forces throughout his career.

Iz in Concert - Released 2000 on Big Boy Records
A compilation of many of the live performances Kamakawiwo'ole did in Hawaii and other parts of America.

Alone in Iz world - Released 2001 on Big Boy Records
This second compilation album entered the top independent albums chart and remained on the chart for 47 weeks. It continues to be successful to this day with features on the Top World Catalogue Albums chart in 2006, 7 and 8.

Iz: The man behind the music - Produced by KGMB in 2004
DVD Documentary charting the life of Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. Includes interviews with friends and family as well as footage of live performances.

Wonderful World - Released 2007 on The Mountain Apple Company Records
This album followed the release of "Somewhere over the rainbow/What a wonderful world" as a single into the American charts. The album enjoyed an equal level of success and as a result of this and much online promotion, the music of Israel Kamakawiwo'ole was starting to spread further and further afield, even 10 years after his death.

Unforgettable - Released 2008 on Poki Records
Over the Rainbow - Released 2011 on Big Boy Records
The latest compilation released by his first solo record label takes tracks from all 4 of his studio albums and is considered to be the closest thing to a "best of" that he may have put together if he were still alive.
